Perhaps it is necessary to recreate several hundred years of Arctic sea ice concentration. It is not immediately reassuring to see no discernible change in the northern sea ice cycle that would seem logically to be the most immediately affected by the CO2 belching North America and its sister polluters in East Asia and Northern Europe. Colleague Marc Morano, Climate Depot, continues to pepper me with links to statements by men of science who have deep doubts about the assumptions supporting the climate change Waxman-Markey bill in the House.  The only reliable posture may be to stand by dubiously at the Obama administration claims of catastrophe.  Perhaps it will come.  Not yet.
