Unstable.
POTUS remarks at the White House after the Democratic Senate caucus passed Harry Reid's 2733 page bill for a healthcare insurance bail-out/take-over, "I look forward to working with members of Congress in both chambers over the coming weeks to do exactly that." This is funny. Working with Democrats? POTUS faces the ordeal of demonstrating that he is a bipartisan executive who only concerns himself with the most demanding and needful and manipulative members of his own party on the Hill. The GOP is not in POTUS's view. A president of one party; a Congress of one party; a Federal government of one party; a one party state. The most partisan presidency ever? To what end? The Federal city looks unstable for the next ten months, until the mid-term.

Odd, and perhaps paradoxical, that a one-party state should be unstable (as opposed to a multi-party state). Yet it's true. Look at all the other one-party states on this planet. How do these cope?
Most take the shoehorn approach, forcing the bruised and much maligned foot to fit. Most – like Iran (among many such states) - are adept at projecting the hologram illusion of strength with displays of brutality. It is clear that we are approaching a similar end when we accept their illusion at face value while making no move to expose its pathetic bravado as farce.

If several conservative members of the SCOTUS are found in Ft. Marcy park with multiple stab wounds to the back, then we will have a one party government. (heaven forbid!)
This Deep-dish style desire for political power is obscene.
BJ Clinton realized he could not govern from the left and changed tack, moving rightward. Welfare reform and prosperity were his accomplishments. I do not see even an attempt to be inclusive.
