Bump On His Head Is Back.
Osama Bin Laden's deputy gangster Ayman al-Zawahiri is back in the news with an unfootnoted, rambling, six-power-points video on the new American president-elect and how Al Qaeda is really, really, really disappointed. Assume it will be clipped up and posted on "YouTube Hobgoblins" soon. My best source in Ummah signals sends along a Word document translation updated on November 11. Best source reports the critical details,
"Final video created on Nov 17. Publicly released on Nov 19. The video was recorded presumably in the week between Nov 5 and Nov 11. Last year the lag time between an event and Zawahiri's video response was less than 72 hours. It's now down to 3 weeks. This is the significance of the dates."
According to al-Zawahiri, an Egyptian national bourgeoise crank who in the 1990s toured America to raise cash from the credulous and criminal (left, al-Zawahiri's faked passport photo 1994-95), Mr. Obama is making the same unfortunate mistakes as the wicked Mr. Bush before him, refusing to accept defeat in Iraq, defeat in Afghanistan, defeat in the fantasy of the Ummah, just plain defeat as a bunch of Dhimmi punks. A recent air strike on another of the notorious Ak-47, RPG "wedding parties" in Afghanistan, this one near Kandahar, is cited as proof that Mr. Obama doesn't get it.
Malcolm X.
The notoriously operatic and stage-struck Mr. al-Zawahiri (right, in full glam make-up in his Pakistan dacha, from a video released in 2006) then concludes that unlike the late Malcolm X (below, 1964), Mr. Obama is a fraud -- a disrespectful son of a Muslim father who has fallen in with the Jews and Christans. Ergo, Mr. Obama is no change. The Al Qaeda discouragement is emphasized with sighs, head-shakings, harsh expectorations, other patronizing, scene stealing sounds of bilious dismissal. Al-Zwahiri, who my source notes looks extremely weary during his jeremiad, throws in the strangely antique trash talk that Mr. Obama and Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice are "House Negroes." And then he goes free associating about how badly he and his pals are going to burn and pillage and wreck and be really mean to America the Crusader and how brave and constant and really cool are his pals the Muj, his "lions of Islam." The whole package is predictable, repetitive, unimaginative, unfocused -- and seems hours longer than its minutes. It needs illustrations, hotlinks, web 2.0 paraphernalia, some cut-aways, better lighting and some music orchestrating. Hire Bollywood for the re-recording. And please, no more one-camera monologue video. If there is only one of you sounding off, just send a press release. The crowd that can't read isn't going to sign up for dynamite belts anytime soon. The banal quality of this production makes me puzzle why there was ever fear of this character? He is a pre-Google blowhard. Worse, he's old news. What's he going to do, send an ultra-lite loaded with CDS into Goldman Sachs at 30 Hudson? Who has time to worry about another bank failure?
Translation of the Obama Trash Talk Part of the Memo (modified on November 11):
The second of these messages is to the new president of the United States. I tell him: you have reached the position of president, and a heavy legacy of failure and crimes awaits you. A failure in Iraq to which you have admitted, and a failure in Afghanistan to which the commanders of your army have admitted. The other thing to which I want to bring your attention is that what you've announced about how you're going to reach an understanding with Iran and pull your troops out of Iraq to send them to Afghanistan is a policy which was destined for failure before it was born. It appears that you don't know anything about the Muslim Ummah and its history, and the fate of the traitors who cooperated with the invaders against it, and don't know anything about the history of Afghanistan and its free and defiant Muslim people. And if you still want to be stubborn about America's failure in Afghanistan, then remember the fate of Bush and Pervez Musharraf, and the fate of the Soviets and British before them. And be aware that the dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands to them.
As for the crimes of America which await you, it appears that you continue to be captive to the same criminal American mentality towards the world and towards the Muslims. The Muslim Ummah received with extreme bitterness your hypocritical statements to and stances towards Israel, which confirmed to the Ummah that you have chosen a stance of hostility to Islam and Muslims. You represent the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like Malik al-Shabazz, or Malcolm X (may Allah have mercy on him). You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand in the ranks of the enemies of the Muslims, and pray the prayer of the Jews, although you claim to be Christian, in order to climb the rungs of leadership in America. And so you promised to back Israel, and you threatened to strike the tribal regions in Pakistan, and to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan, in order for the crimes of the American Crusade in it to continue. And last Monday, your aircraft killed 40 Afghan Muslims at a wedding party in Kandahar. As for Malik al-Shabazz (may Allah have mercy on him), he was born to a black pastor killed by white bigots, but Allah favored him with guidance to Islam, and so he prided himself on his fraternity with the Muslims, and he condemned the crimes of the Crusader West against the weak and oppressed, and he declared his support for peoples resisting American occupation, and he spoke about the worldwide revolution against the Western power structure.
That's why it wasn't strange that Malik al-Shabazz (may Allah have mercy on him) was killed, while you have climbed the rungs of the presidency to take over the leadership of the greatest criminal force in the history of mankind and the leadership of the most violent Crusade ever against the Muslims.
And in you and in Colin Powell, Rice and your likes, the words of Malcolm X (may Allah have mercy on him) concerning "House Negroes" are confirmed.
Best source adds this liner note to the package: "We have only seen him in video once this year, on August 22. This is his 10th appearance this year. All but the one in August was audio (over video collages). Zawahiri knows that the increased tempo of ops in Pakistan's frontier is targeting him specifically. He knows that America is trying to smoke him out. This is why his OPSEC has been increased. He looked extremely tired in the August video."
Best source adds this footnote re Somalia (Land of the Two Migrations): most significant for the report I will have Sunday 23 from London re the piracy phenomenon off Somalia: "Most significant in the speech is his shout out to Somalia towards the end. This is in response to Shabaab Strategy Chief Nabhan Ali Nabhan's shout out to AQSL on behalf of the Somalia muj back in Sep. Zawahiri is acknowledging receipt of their message. Shabaab is about to officially merge into AQ. Expect a video announcing the establishment of Al Qaeda in the Land of the Two Migrations (Somalia) in the next 2 or 3 months. Note that Zawahiri instructs them to establish a sharia-based authority. This is in response to the lessons that AQ learned in Somalia in the 1990s when they were unable to establish a regime amidst chaos. (AQ has learned that it fares better when there is a government to counter.)"

If people do not see the obvious, does that mean that the obvious does not exist? We’ve been repeating endlessly that it was wrong of us to invade Iraq; that it did nothing to lessen terror. Yet, al-Qaeda has readily admitted that Iraq is (and has always been) the central front in their struggle against the West. We’ve been repeating that the war there is lost. Yet, we’ve not been seeing lately (as we once did) the results of daily car bombings outside mosques and in market squares. Which brings me to another point: In the MSM, the now relative calm in Iraq has been ascribed to Iraqis themselves. From reading the papers we find that our troops had nothing to do with it; whereas each car bombing (in the heyday of car bombings) was blamed directly on Bush, as if he had personally stitched the vests and assembled the wires, the timers, the explosives…
It was the platform from which hatred for the Republican President could be stoked night after night on the evening news. There was no getting away from it: Bush, it was said, had all the world’s blood on his hands.
Clearly unfair, and even destructive of our policy aims, the charge nevertheless stuck. And now we’ve now elected a Marxist just to get even.
I am not so naïve as not to understand the political motivation for such charges (bogus or otherwise) against a sitting president by the opposition. But such (or any) charges should be seen within the context of political reality. As such, we cannot blame Democrats for voicing them. More difficult to understand is the lack of effective Republican response. Yes, the MSM favors the Dems; that much is clear. But they would have had to report on high profile Republican voices defending the President as well. There were none.
It continues. McCain, the Republican standard bearer, never attacked his opponent on issues where it counts most. He chose to lose an election rather than state the obvious. In gentlemanly fashion, McCain agreed with Obama’s version of the rules that rendered the “obvious” out of bounds.
Senator McCain, Barrack Obama is not an honorable man! He is a socialist, if not a Marxist who will not admit to it openly. He will change this country in a way that few will be able to stomach. He was a stealth candidate. He presented himself as a centrist. But his rhetorical slips, associations and past experience betray him. He says he is a patriot, yet he wants to de-fund our military and capitulate to our enemies. He said that in a conflict between Muslims and America, he would stand with the Muslims. His citizenship status remains in question. Which country is he a citizen of? Clue: One that has 57 States. It is not America!
In the ‘70’s or ‘80’s or even in the ‘90’s this could not have happened. Perhaps our country has changed without our even having noticed - the “frog in the boiling water” syndrome. Some will come to regard this election as a coup. What, with all the voter irregularities and clearly fraudulent journalism, there would indeed be a credible argument for such an assessment. But, then, we’ve been going down this road for a long time now. We’ve all but ignored the signposts. Why is a surprise now that we’ve arrived?
Don't put too much stock in al-Qaeda's denouncement of our president-elect. They understand that Obama has not yet crossed the finish line. Both he and they know that disinformation is their most formidable weapon. Brothers? Maybe not; but definitely both working for the same team.
What a DA- someone please hit the knot on his noggin--->{*}
He's demeaned some of our finest AMERICANS-
He's got the Mal X life story all wrong through to the end and what about all the innocent Muslims that his ilk have targeted and murdered without regret... maybe he needs a good Hajj like Malcolm undertook to finally get it right.
Rat Bastard living in his Holy Hole- cave the walls in
C'mon Peter, do you believe this stuff you write?
What country is Obama a citizen of? Your clue didn't help me.
And are you linking our Prez elect to being in league with Bumpy Zawahiri and working in cahoots with each other on the same team?
But anyone who taxes us against our will is dishonest to the exact extent he does so. If someone taxes me at 30% of my income, then he's 30% criminal in my book. All politicians are criminals by varying degrees, except for the most resolute libertarians.
Re those "notorious Ak-47, RPG 'wedding parties' in Afghanistan":
Blogger Steve Sailer likes to quote a piece by Churchill, who noted the Pathans'--in modern parlance the Pashtuns'--devotion to war and vendetta, and to how their homes are essentially well-armed fortresses, the better to snipe at their equally blood-crazed neighbors, also dug in and packing heat. Is it any harder to believe that Afghan celebrants would have heavy weapons close at hand than Gordon Liddy's account in "Will" of how he fired a gun into the night sky to celebrate the birth of a son? Or that come Saturday night a good-natured, freedom-loving East Tennesee redneck of my acquaintance likes to down a few cold ones and fire his modified Uzi from the door of his Airstream into a pasture thankfully empty of cows?
Zawahiri on Obama's willingness for "unconditional talks" with Iran and transferring troops from Iraq to Afghanistan:
"(W)hat you’ve announced about how you’re going to reach an understanding with Iran and pull your troops out of Iraq to send them to Afghanistan is a policy which was destined for failure before it was born... Be aware that the dogs of Afghanistan have found the flesh of your soldiers to be delicious, so send thousands after thousands to them."
Lou:
Man after my own heart. Taxation is taking money against your will and I would interject that there is little difference to the government and a mafia, Except that with the mafia, if I am paying tribute, I know I will get service. Time and Tithe wait for no one...
SHOUT OUT to the MEN and WOMEN instrumenting the tech ops in the hinterlands. Got another major/ lieutenant today!!! WAAAAHoooo!
Lame duck? Who saz?? GOODEM WORKEMS!!
People who show a lack of understanding our political system by equating members of the loyal opposition with foreign enemies get me upset. In a democracy the best anyone can hope for is civil discourse and compromise as no one, thankfully, ever gets everything they want. That includes me and you dear reader.
Jack, go back to the late 1850's early 1860's and tell me exactly when the South stopped being the loyal opposition and started being the foreign enemy? Or exactly when the colonists stopped being noisy tax protesters and started being the American Revolution? Is it always so clearly delineated?
Also, I trust that you didn't just suddenly appear out of nowhere - that you've been diligently trying for 8 years to convince liberals to stop comparing GWB to Hitler. Then you'll have your earned your stripes to tell us what sort of discourse is acceptable. (By the way, when I hear someone start to prescribe acceptable vs unacceptable discourse, I smell "liberal".)
