Credit card thefts are rampant. Credit card/banking industry has known magstripe technology is old and insecure. Smart Card technology has been around for 20+ years yet has not been adopted. Billions are lost each year due to fraud.

I once paid a visit to a well-known retailer who was being attacked right under their noses, they were clueless, and repeatedly told me they were comfortable with their systems and the level of risk. Due to their "risk comfort", both me and my parents credit cards were compromised.

Corporations now buy insurance rather than fix glaring security vulnerabilities. Hackers placing spyware and trapdoors in our critical infrastructure (power, gas, telecoms) is VERY VERY DISTURBING. DHS does not consider our credit card systems at the retailers part of "critical Infrastructure" If a planned attack were to max out every credit card at the same time, it would take several weeks to restore the financial system.

The Payment card industry requires small and mid size retailers to only do a 200 dollar scan over the Internet and fill out a form. No checks are ever done to ensure the internal networks of mid size retailers are secure.

John,

Please restore the links to your broadcasts on KFI, WABC, etc.

Mark

Your website is missing the third hour of your program. I would love to hear the entire interview with the author you had on about the writing of the Constitution regarding James Madison. Please add to you website.

Also, your website does not have any book or music recommendations - I miss that from you old website.

thanks,
Sherry
