Hour One
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 1, Block A: Steve Moore,  Heritage chief economist; in re: the reason the number of uninsured people went up slightly in 2918 is that they couldn't afford Obamacare, which fur a couple making $70,000 now costs $38,000 per year — with an $11,000 deductible, which is why there are only 10 million people still on Obamacare. Drug companies are a very powerful lobby, want no changes Americans pay three times more for US-developed drugs than Europeans do.  Pelosi wants to put radical rice controls on the drugs companies, which would stop innovation.
Medicaid is the least-efficient US program.  . . .  Certain states are plundering the federal budget.
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 1, Block B: Steve Moore,  Heritage chief economist; in re: Elizabeth Warren’s proposal/assertions are: Fed’s to name 40% of the board of a private company; or challenging stock buy-backs as exploitative.  “Hugo Chavez-style economics.”  Would you like to invest in a corporation where Elizabeth Warren name 40% of the board?
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 1, Block C: Aaron Klein, Breitbart & KleinOnline & Aaron Klein Investigative Radio: in re: Some detail on the small circle of friends.  The oddities of the Schiff closed-door hearings.   On 25 July 2019, Pres Trump spoke with the president of Ukraine. Whistleblower complaint as of 12 Aug.  Then an Atlantic Council staffer, Thomas Eager, travelled to Ukraine. He now is a staffer to Schiff’s House Committee on Intelligence.
Burisma, known as the firm that paid Hunter Biden, is the major funder of the Atlantic Council.  The current US ambassador to Ukraine, Bill Taylor, assigned a few months ago, is en route to the US to testify before Schiff’s committee.
The day that Thomas Eager landed, his first meeting was with Bill Taylor.   (Schiff had approved the trip and its expenses, paid for by Atlantic Council and Burisma.)
Aaron specifically asked Schiff’s spokesman if the staffer had discussed any issue related to Biden and Burisma; no reply to date.  . . .  Many Capitol Hill people were stunned by Aaron’s article.
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Era 1, Block D: Dan Griswold, Mercatus, in re: The peculiarities of Brexit. Boris Johnson (BoJo) got the EU to budge – a feat, in itself. Everyone wants an open border between Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland; under the current (last) proposal, there’ll be only a check of goods being transferred.  This must be approved by the British parliament, with an uncertain outcome; high drama on Saturday.
The Backstop: as long as a real border exists, could not come to an agreement with the EU. If it all works out, then on Oct 31, Britain will leave the EU.
If the US signs a bilateral agreement with Britain, we’ll circumvent the overregulated EU market.

Hour Two
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 2, Block A:  Sebastian Gorka, The War for America’s Soul: How We Take Back Our Country, America First radio & Fox, in re: I read the Economist carefully – the articles of the smart set. Europeans have consistently misstated the fact around the Middle East for centuries, and then condemn us for moving fifty US troops.
Marie Antoinette’s ghost. What are the European powers doing to stabilize Syria?  Apparently, whining.  Pres Trump: “Since when is it good for the US to be in the middle of ancient, sectarian conflicts?”  Macron, who intends to mediate all the  disputes in Europe, chastises the US – and where are the [stabilizing] French troops?
This who are so willing to commit the children of Americans just don't understand Americans.  Fight for the Kurds under Article V of the Treaty?
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 2, Block B:  Sebastian Gorka, America First radio & Fox, in re:  Nick Mulvaney made a statement to the media on Ukraine: “There was a quid pro quo” — or maybe he said “No quid pro quo.” What the transcript says he said is, “I’ve got news for you: politics is involved in foreign policy.” . . .  You can’t run an actual impeachment behind closed doors. They're desperate to stop this president.  If it should get to the Senate, the Senate can immediately dismiss the whole thing on the grounds that it’s classified [smile].  Alternatively, Schiff and open all the transcripts, but he can't do that because the various testimonials don't correspond with his assertions.
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 2, Block C:  Chris Riegel, Scala.com, Scala Report part two; in re:  WeWork’s path to global domination, someone figured out that with  $41 bil valuation it had to be profitable. Lose money but gain name?  Amazon did that; it took twenty years.
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 2, Block D: Brenda Shaffer,   , in re:  Azerbaijan and SEAL Team 6 on CBS.  A third of supplies the US sent to Afghanistan went through Azerbaijan.

Hour Three
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 3, Block A: Hotel Mars, episode n, with Dr Karen Meech, Inst for Astronomy, Honolulu; and Dr David Livingston, The Space Show; in re: Interstellar visitors. ‘Omuamua, a cigar-shaped asteroid, and Comet Borisov . . . .
Thursday 17 October 2019 /  Hour 3, Block B:  Hotel Mars, episode n, with Dr Karen Meech, Inst for Astronomy, Honolulu; and Dr David Livingston, The Space Show; in re: Interstellar visitors.   ‘Omuamua, a cigar-shaped asteroid, and Comet Borisov . . . .
