Photo, above: The 16th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement begins in Teheran on August 26, 2012. The Non-Aligned Movement  was founded in Belgrade in 1961 by national leaders who advocated a middle course for states in the developing world between the Western and Eastern blocs during the Cold War. With the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the concept is now largely superannuated, having utility here primarily as a vehicle of protest against the wicked, rich nations that impose their will on innocent, smaller countries, especially those trying bravely to build their own nuclear storehouses and delivery systems.

JOHN BATCHELOR SHOW

Thursday 905P Eastern Time:  Mary Kissel, OpinionJournal.com (Wall Street Journal) host, in re:  Republican Convention in Tampa.  Ann Romney, Chris Christie; AC/DC & elevator music.

Thursday 920P Eastern Time:  Tom Switzer, editor of the Spectator Australia and teaches political history at the University of Sydney; Marry Kissel; in re: murderous attacks on Australian NATO troops in Afghanistan - five dead at the hand of fellow soldiers: green on blue murders.  Australia is the only nation that's joined the US in every single war since WWI.  Very glad to join the US to find and exterminate bin Laden; however, the mission seems to have changed: to bring democracy and enlightenment to a Medieval society.  Time to pull out: more blood and treasure, all with no happy ending.

Thursday 935P Eastern Time:  Larry Johnson, No Quarter blog, in re: Ms Bigelow, Hollywood movie, Bin Laden.  "It matters how the Devil dies."  Movie being made by Ms Bigelow seems to have had sensitive information made available to her from highly-placed individuals.  At the time  - 1 May 2011 -  White House exposed that this was Seal Team Six and a Special Ops activity – both dangerous to national security; then a full-court press to have a film made. CIA, DIA, others, spent taxpayers' money to create a political hagiography of Obama. We have e-mail, names, meetings – at CIA with CIA officials on the topic of the movie script; linked with Al Gore, Michael Feldman, founder of the Grover Park Group (and Gore spokesman, heavy into the global warming movie). On Agy guest list were ___, __ Bush (chief of staff); Jennifer Youngblood, who issued a sworn document asserting that helping make this film – as it turns out, providing inaccurate facts, while these public servants earn $90K to $120K PA – was within the responsibilities of the director of the CIA.  However: a veteran Seal comes forward to say that the real facts do not correspond with the film and the govt-supplied info.  Brennan said the Seals entered the room & wrestled ObL's two wives to the ground; but as each was carrying a heavy weapon and a sidearm, couldn’t possibly wrestle anyone. The shoot threats.  Looks as though ObL was dead when they entered his room.  Truth does matter.

A network of Ecuadorian banks established to accommodate Iran. 2 of 3.
