Hour One
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 1, Block A:  John Catsimatidis, Cats Roundtable Radio, and Red Apple Media, @JCats2013, @CatsRoundtable, in re: Criminals are on the streets because the Rikers population was taken from 10,000 down to 3,000. If Mayor DeBlasio allowed the police to do their job, this would be cleaned up right away. Rikers, Bellevue, everything.
Is Antifa funded by the Chinese? the Russians? the Iranians? Someone here?
Have you seen one Democrat stand up and say that the violent events are wrong? No. The mayor sees that New York has turned into a ghost town. Because he’s term-limited, he wants a Democratic administration in Washington so he can be given a plushy position there.
Democrats, from Oregon to the Atlantic: What are you thinking?

Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 1, Block B:  Lorenzo Fiori, Direttore Generale Ansaldo Fondazione, in re:  In Italy, 246,00 cases of virus.  . . .   On school reopening, lots of polemics.  Average age of those infected has gone from 60 to 40. . .  . Human trafficking : enormous increase of small boats form Tunisia, arriving not only at small islands but in Sardinia.
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 1, Block C:  Gordon Chang @GordonGChang, Daily Beast,   & Michael Yon @Michael_Yon, East Asian reporter, in re: The Chinese Ministry of State Security is inquiring about Michael in Hong Kong  A new virus outbreak, so Carrie Lam may suspend elections [surprise].  Chinese arrests of activists retroactively, which was said never to occur.  Legco [pron: ledge-co] elections: China doesn’t want elections; the whole democratic process in Hong Kong  is probably at an end.  Will there be civil society in Hong Kong? Not at all.  Never again till the CCP is gone. Everyone who can leave should do so as rapidly as possible.  People suspended their twitter accounts, are laying low.   Michael: We must bring Japan into the Five Eyes. Are we in the US being watched by Chinese State Security? Definitely yes—they’re all over, and very much here. One of the reasons that the State Dept closed the Houston Chinese consulate.  We’re under an unrelenting assault by Beijing. It’s vicious; without hyperbole, we stand possibly to lose the Republic.
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 1, Block D:  Gordon Chang @GordonGChang, & Bill Gertz @BillGertz, Inside the Ring column, and author of a new Encounter Books Broadside, How China's Communist Party Made the World Sick, in re: Pompeo’s brilliant speech in California at the Nixon library: Distrust and verify [China]. Now, many packets of seeds have arrived mysteriously from China; [God knows] what they’d do if planted. China truly is engaged in unrestricted warfare with the US. It's stolen our advanced technology in many realms.  A snakehead Chinese fish, an extreme predator (“the fish from Hell”), was found in a pond near Washington, D.C. Whence did it arrive?  Another deed: send defective masks and personal protective equipment—which, in fact, it did. However, some could be sabotaged actually to enhance the spread of the virus. A truly evil incarnation of the Soviet Union. Serious concerns in US intell and military: China is working very hard on biological weapons; defectors have attested to this.   Secret deal between China and Pakistan whereby Pakistan will test biowar elements. After China’s mishandling of the Wuhan virus, increasing biowar research, all under the PLA.  Recent reports of China working with bioweapons programs of many other nations, including in the Middle East.  We need a full accounting of the origins of the corona virus.    Dr Yan Li-meng worked at a WHO lab in Hong Kong, is very well informed ; has given new details on the relation between the Chinese military and the Wuhan virus.

Hour Two
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 2, Block A:  Salena Zito, The Middle of Somewhere column; New York Post; Real Clear Politics; in re: Pennsylvania.  Delayed ballot-counting because most ballots were mailed in.  A new process; with some absentee ballots.  Some counties took days; the Collar Counties took weeks to get the final count in.  ’Twasn’t the ballots, it was the counting that took so long.  Imagine the presidential contest dragging on till December.  In the end, 31,000 ballots not counted—enough to swing the election. There were 160,000 newly-registered Republican voters.  Keystone State because the person who wins the election in Pennsylvania is likely to win the White House.
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 2, Block B:  Salena Zito, The Middle of Somewhere column; New York Post; Real Clear Politics; in re:  Minor League Baseball. Altoona.  The Altoona Curve!

Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 3, Block C:  Robert Zimmerman, BehindtheBlack.com, in re:  Boca Chica.  Arrested Chinese spies outnumber the Chinese launches.  Female spy fled to the San Francisco consulate; eventually stepped out, was busted.  They certainly did not steal the right plans for the Three Gorges Dam.
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 3, Block D:  Robert Zimmerman, BehindtheBlack.com, in re:  “Great big, fancy” Perseverance launch to Mars. . . .  Marsquakes?  . . .  Exoplanets.

Hour Four
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 4, Block A: Sadanand Dhume @dhume, AEI and WSJ, in re: The world’s largest democracy under threat from a strange and ominous invasion by the PRC. It was led weeks ago against the Line of Actual Control in the Himalaya; India has turned to friends present and past, including Russia.  Relations have somewhat weakened, but military relations continue adequately.  In emergency mode, Delhi has asked Moscow for weapons.  US, Israel and France are all in the mix.  Turning to Russia is probably not a good idea.  At the birth of Bangladesh, India depended on Russia to prevent China or the US from meddling in favor of Pakistan.  Btw, Russian weapons are cheaper than American; and Russians are good at making friends, making people happy—especially for very large contracts; Russia also provides considerably more scientific help, higher technologies.   Sixty per cent of India’s arms imports from Russia; the remaining 40% divided among US, France, others.
Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 4, Block B: Sadanand Dhume @dhume, AEI and WSJ, in re: India rejects China – 59 apps and Huawei and ZTE.

Wednesday 29 July 2020 / Hour 4, Block D: Gordon Chang @GordonGChang, & Rosemary Gibson, senior advisor to The Hastings Center and author of China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America's Dependence on China for Medicine, in re: the delay of the pharmaceuticals executive order.
